Eventet er baseret på Pokémon The Journey serien og vil indeholde følgende:
- World Cap Pikachu ( se billeder på dette event ) vil være i det fri, og kan stadig være shiny
- Lugia kommer tilbage til Raids (fra: 5/11 22:00 - 16/11 22:00) - Dette tilføjes snarest til Event siden - se desuden nuværende raids her
- Pokémon som Ivysaur, Pinsir, Snorlax, Golurk og andre vil være at finde i raids under eventet
- I det fri vil vi oftere se: Bulbasaur, Exeggcute, Cubone, Scyther, Dratini, Cyndaquil og andre. Alle de nævnte kan desuden være shiny!
- 7km æg vil kunne indeholde: Pichu, Mantyke, Riolu og Cubone
- Klar Tidsbegrænset Research som er inspireret af Pokémon serien
- Goh fra serien, kan dukke op på GO Snapshots, og du vil kunne finde tøj til din avatar inspireret af hans karakter.

Der er en 11 dels Tidsbegrænset Research med til eventet, hvor de hver især er baseret på de første 11 afsnit, inklusiv hvilken Pokémon det giver. Episode 4 og 5 er samlet i del 4.
